What You Need to Know
About the SFFZ
In 2016, the Republican River Compact Administration approved a resolution stating the State of Colorado would attempt to voluntarily retire 25,000 irrigated acres in the South Fork Focus Zone by 2029, in an effort to restore streamflow in the South Fork Republican River.
